McCoy's 1st Monthly Beer Pairing at the Foundry-- this Tuesday, April 7 at 7PM!

We would like to formally invite all of the beer lover's of Kansas City to our first monthly Brewmaster Beer Pairing. Beginning this Tuesday, April 7th at 7PM, we are featuring unique beers paired with our chef's food inspirations. We are offering three courses for $22 per person, plus tax & gratuity. We hope you'll join us the first Tuesday evening of each month for our new themed dinners. April's Beer Pairing begins with our Spring Saison Dinner featuring Farmhouse-style ales & French Foods.

First Course
Ommegang Hennepin
Coriander-encrusted Tuna Nicoise Salad
8.0% abv- Gold medal winner at World Beer Championship; rated 92 points
Golden color with lavender soap aromas follow through to a fruity medium-body of tangerine, toasted wheat, honey & spice flavors; finishes with a mandarin orange, spice custard & talc fade. This beer is aged for a month to promote esterification of any fusel alcohols. We're happy to announce that this awesome beer will soon be on tap at the Foundry!
Second Course
Boulevard’s Saison-Bret
Asparagus & Chevre Cheese-stuffed Chicken Palliard
w/dueling Red & Yellow Pepper Coulis
6.5% abv- One of Boulevard’s most rare, top-rated beers. The SB pours a brilliantly yellow-gold color when held up to light. The aroma has a grassy hop to it, ample touches of lemon zest, tangerine fruit & lychee notes with an underlying musky brettanomyces signature that can’t quite hide the expressive malt & hop character. This is maybe the last remaining drops in Kansas City!
Third Course
Saison Dupont
Grand Marnier Carrot Cake w/Vietnamese Candied Ginger
6.5% abv- A truly unique beer with dark honey-colored with lively carbonation bubbles & massive frothy head. Enchanting bready-banana aroma with cinnamon & clove spices. Suprisingly bitter up front with a twinge of tart apple fruitiness & grassy lemony notes. Soon to come to the Kansas City market- be the first in town to try this outstanding Saison!
